Glossary: Ring Shapes

ROUND

 A traditional and popular shape. It tends to give off maximum “sparkle” due to its many facets that catch the light.


OVAL

 An elongated version of the round-cut.

EMERALD CUT

This can be either rectangular or square in shape.PEAR

A pear shape stone is round on one end and pointed at the other.MARQUISE

Frequently more costly and intricate, it is an elongated shape with symmetrical ends.
